Hi Friends! We hope you all are having a great December so far! As we come up on the holiday break for many of the kiddos in our communities - we thought we might use our Tuesday Thoughts Blog post to chat about some holiday LEGO fun!
We have sooo many fun things to choose from this holiday season! If you are looking for stress free and put together kits we have several of those available for you in store!
One of our favorites right now is the LEGO Block Calendar and the cute BrikFigs that go on top of the calendar each month! Don't worry - you can start by buying the block calendar and one decoration to get you through the month! But we do have them all (while supplies last)
Another great take home project are local artist Lisa Rowe's paint kits - which include everything needed to create a cute new painting! This month we have the North Pole!
Maybe you are looking for something slightly less messy - might we suggest purchasing a snow globe or an ornament?
These are super easy to open and put your very own creation inside!
We also have some great ideas for LEGO builds that are holiday themed and some great resources from others who did fun things!
Let's start with ornaments! In addition to the ones we have at the store to put your own creation into, building LEGO ornaments is actually quite easy! All you need is some creativity and either a LEGO chain or rope piece! While there are a lot of ways to do this, we think this fellow blogger covers it quite well! Check out her ornament builds and click on the picture to see the full blog!
We also had a lot of fun experimenting with the Christmas Tree! Check out these awesome 2D and 3D trees - which one do you like better?
What holiday decorations have you built this year? Send us your pictures (on social media or through email) and be entered into our Holiday MOC Contest for the month of December!
